BREAKING NEWS: SBHC Funding Preserved for ’16

All school-based health care funding has been preserved in the state budget for 2016.

This morning, the Conference Committe report continued the $2 million for the 3 hub/satellite sites in addition to the continuation funding for $3.5 million, for a total line item for $5,557,300.

This funding supports:

• A total of 99 school-based and school-linked health centers and programs
• Pilot programs for 3 hub sites in Detroit (2) and Muskegon
