Health Educator Amanda Forsmark Wins Award

Please congratulate Amanda Forsmark, Health Educator, SHS School-Based Health Center, Saginaw High School  for being selected as a Young Emerging Leader for the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). She was nominated by Dr. Brenda Coughlin on behalf of HDI and will be one of 5 to 8 recipients recognized at this year’s 10th Anniversary of the NACHC – Emerging Leader Award Celebration.

The Emerging Leader Award, part of the Geiger Gibson Program in Community Health Policy at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University, was created to highlight and share the accomplishments of exceptional young members of health centers and primary care associations.

​The award will be presented at the ​2016 Geiger Gibson Symposium held in conjunction with the National Association of Community Health Centers Policy and Issues Forum in Washington, D.C. on March 19, 2016.
