MDHC announces 17 new school-based/school-linked centers to be funded for 2015

The Michigan Departments of Education and Community Health recently released the names and sites of 17 newly funded school-based/school-linked health centers.

This brings the total number of clinical centers to 82, plus an additional 14 wellness programs and 4 behavioral health service sites.  The original task for report on Adolescent Health published by the Michigan Department of Community Health in 1987 was to establish 100 school based/school linked centers in schools throughout Michigan. This new group of centers gets us closer and closer to that original goal.

SCHA-MI looks forward to working with each of these new sites as they begin their new efforts.
