SBHC Awareness Month

School-Based Health Care Awareness Month

Health + Education = Success!

Every February, we highlight stories on how school-based health centers (SBHCs) lead the way in providing preventative health care services for our nation’s children and adolescents. This is a wonderful opportunity to educate your community and policymakers and showcase the work school-based and school-linked health centers do.

Schools in School-Based Health Center Awareness Month To:

  • Build awareness and explain the importance of school-based health centers.
  • Gain support for the school-based or linked health center program with key policymakers who have the power to keep us safe in the budget.
  • Give youth the chance to let their voices be heard, advocate, and share the importance of health care in schools!
