Pre-Legislative Forum Activities | Tuesday, March 3, 2015

The pre-forum activities will be held at the Radisson Lansing at the Capitol.

5:00 – 6:00 pm – MPCA Membership Meeting

6:00 – 7:30 pm – MPCA Membership Dinner

Mental Health Networking Meeting @ DEPSA (Detroit Edison Public School Academy)

The next bi-annual MH Networking meeting is scheduled for March 20th from 10-2 and will be hosted by the Henry Ford Health System CAHC mental health staff. The meeting will be at DEPSA (Detroit Edison Public School Academy) located at 1903 Wilkins, Detroit, 48207. You will need to check in at the main office upon arrival. Please plan to bring your own lunch. There is not a call-in option for this meeting. Please RSVP to Lauren Kazee by March 13th at kazeel@michigan.gov.

MBA and MI Bridges Navigation Training Sessions @ StonesHouse Inc., Dann's House Residence

Michigan Benefits Access promotes the use of a multiple benefit application system, called MI Bridges, through community outreach.  MI Bridges is a system developed and maintained by the Department of Human Services. The Michigan Association of United Ways provides training to community organizations to enable staff/volunteers to assist persons directly with applying for public benefits on MI Bridges, as well as, informing the community about the availability of the system for anyone to use on-line. An MBA and MI Bridges Trainer will share the goals of initiative, the expanded features of the technology, possible levels of engagement for community based organizations, and how to navigate MI Bridges when assisting an applicant.
